Welcome to River Trail Cottages!
River Trail Cottages are roomy, country style cabins with covered verandahs. These one and two bedroom cottages have one double bed in each bedroom, a double bed-chesterfield in the living room, color TV, a fully equipped kitchen and complete bath. The cottages are spacious, comfortable and electrically heated.

    Just 2 miles off the Cabot Trail in Margaree Centre, these cabins are located in a very scenic area on a 150 acre farm. Each cabin has a beautiful view of the surrounding mountains. The Margaree River winds through the property and east walking trails give access to the Red Bank and Hart's salmon pools.
    Quiet Relaxation in a tranquil setting. Nature walking trails through fields and wooded areas where you will find wood sculptures, do some bird watching, and the enjoy the natural beauty of the Margaree River.

Our location is central for day trips around the beautiful Cape Breton Island.

There are many activities to be enjoyed in any season. Fishing (Outfitting & Guides arranged), hunting, cross-country skiing and snowmobiling right from your door.
